Employment law assignment

1.         Consider the circumstances in which a worker may bring an action for wrongful dismissal.
2.         Explain – with examples – what you understand by the terms ‘summary dismissal’ and ‘constructive dismissal’. 
3.         When and why might an employee choose between the Employment Tribunal and the Court when deciding where to bring a claim.
4.         Summarise the main provisions of the Equality Act 2010 and of which an employee must be aware.
5.         What do you understand by the term ‘whistleblower’?  Where will you find the law which deals with this concept and what does it say?
6.         Assuming a dismissal to be fair, outline the circumstances in which such a fair dismissal would be deemed unfair by the Tribunal?  What would be the consequences in such a case for the employer.. if any?
